Lancashire headquartered company Andrew Porter Ltd, specialising in storage, fulfilment and warehousing, has upgraded its security measures with a new system using the latest technology available on the market.
The newly fitted systems employ cutting-edge solutions, including high-definition closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras, motion detectors, and tracking software to enhance security within the company’s extensive warehouses containing a diverse range of stock including raw materials, ecommerce products and pharma supplies.
The firm was originally founded in 1973 by Andrew Porter and is now led by Tim Aspey, in the role of Managing Director. He commented that the recent update to the company’s Lancashire facilities provided world-class security:
“We have increased not only the number of CCTV cameras but their performance capabilities too. The HD system records constantly and is monitored remotely 24-hours a day, with the ability to instantly alert police.”
The new set up is also designed to offer customers using the firm’s self-storage solution, which has been operating since 2017, complete assurance that their belongings are protected.
Andrew Porter Ltd currently runs the largest built-for-purpose self-store and containerised storage facility based in North West England. It also maintains an extensive fleet of removal vehicles that operate across both the UK and Europe.
