The town of Exmouth, on the Devon coastline, has rolled out a cutting-edge closed-circuit television (CCTV) system to safeguard local businesses and residents in key areas suffering high levels of crime.
Worth £76,000, the innovative equipment features the latest high-definition cameras that are completely wireless, allowing them to be redeployed with ease wherever necessary. Wireless devices can also be ideal for upmarket retail outlets and high-end enterprises in the hospitality industry, as they provide a discreet presence compared to older models that require bulky cabling.

“I am confident that this system will contribute to continuing to make Exmouth a safe and happy place to work and relax in. The safety of the community is very important for a town such as ours which relies on tourism as a major factor in its local economy.”
Capable of capturing footage in high-definition resolution, the devices will provide strong support to local police, supplying clear evidence to crack crime with successful convictions.
