At its recent annual ceremony in Glasgow SELECT, Scotland’s biggest trade association recognised a range of high achievers in the electrical contractor sector.
The awards ceremony was held at the Radisson Blu on Argyle Street paying tribute to industry talent that proved both enterprise and drive. Earlier this year, the Scottish electrical sector took a historic step in its campaign for the Protection of Title and its supporters were present to show their backing as well as cheer on the winners. Companies from small to large from all regions of Scotland gathered to be judged by their peers and the opportunity to take home an award for excellence.
Well-timed, the ceremony took place simultaneously with a screening of the Hollywood film entitled “The Current War” exploring the way electrical energy has reshaped the planet and brought society out of a state of actual darkness.

SELECT took the time to pick out companies and individuals that have stood above the rest in the field of electrotechnology by providing impressive services. A new category was added to the 2019 list of awards entitled the Health and Safety Initiative award replacing the previous category of Best Electrical Safety Project.
